We hear it a lot this time of year: “I thought I’d feel better by now.”
Longer days and warmer weather can help, but they don’t always bring the sense of relief people expect. And when that shift doesn’t happen, it can feel discouraging.
The truth is, feeling better isn’t something that just arrives with the season. It’s something we build, little by little, through the choices we make every day.
That might look like getting outside for a few minutes, reaching out to someone you trust, or simply acknowledging how you’re feeling without pushing it aside.
And if things still feel heavy, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
If you or someone you love is experiencing a mental health crisis, help is available. Open daily 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. We welcome all individuals and all ages.
Local: Call 507-322-3019 or walk in, no appointment necessary.
