Let’s enjoy the senior citizen events happening this week:

- On Aug 18th Sea Breeze Amusement Park will be open from 11 am to 8 pm and admission is free for senior citizens over 60 years old. Hope the weather will be good.

- On Aug 19th DEAR will be open from 9 am to 3 pm, with a card game starting at 10 am.

The 22nd Annual Monroe County event will take place at Charlotte Beach on August 21st from 10 am to 2 pm. Please bring a lawn chair. There will be vendors and a free ride on the carousel. See the flyer for more details.
Henrietta SC Center will be at Harborview Pavilion.

“I joined Deaf Elders Around Rochester (DEAR) after being bought out from my company. Some members objected due to my younger age and questioned me- Why?

I explained that I wanted to connect with elders for my future.

Now, as the president, I enjoy socializing, playing, laughing, etc. which helps me stay youthful.”
