Thank you to the Deaf Organizations Fund (DOF) for their important work in supporting Deaf led non profits. Last night the DOF Team led by Sasha Ponappa and Avi Haimowitz with the support of CSD CEO Chris Soukup held an informative fundraiser at NTID to continue raising awareness and funds for upcoming DOF initiatives.

Steve Lovi presented to the Interagency Council (IAC) with the NYS Deaf, Deaf Blind and Hard of Hearing Office in Rensselaer/Albany today, sharing about DSSC. Karen Putz and Marina Barnum from Lifespan also joined.

Terrific presenters and excellent networking opportunities for DSSC. Working together to help Alzheimer’s and Dementia related local services be more Deaf ASL friendly.

When you have aches and pains, gentle daily exercise can help keep you moving and feeling strong. I am a runner, and I believe staying active has helped me enjoy life and maintain a positive outlook. Eating healthy, whole, unprocessed foods can also support our health and help us live a longer, healthier life. Age is just a number—keep moving, eat well, stay positive, and keep enjoying life!"
