When bae says there's time for a paddle! April 10th not bad for the first time in the water (on top of the water?) for 2023! Got a few more boats in the fleet and got them out on the racks in front of Base Camp today too.

We had one of our canoes take flight during that last wind storm and fly about 1/4 mi away through a farmers field, bashing on a few rocks along the way. Amazingly, it doesn't seem to be too damaged, and I think it'll patch up just fine (see what I did there?)!

You can't paddle more than one boat at a time so why did I just buy 10 used Wenonah canoes????

These boats (after a little TLC over the winter) will be the first boats in the Patch's Canoe Outfitting fleet!

I've got two goals with PCO;

1) Get as many paddles in as many hands as we can, especially youth in urban areas

and

2) preserve, defend and increase public access to our amazing local waterways.

Huge shout-out to Canadian Border Outpost for selling us these at a great price and for hauling them 1100+ miles from MN to NY. Can't wait for the kids to add some more battle scars to them!
