Someone cares. It may even be a YAP advocate. But if you're having trouble and can't come up with anyone who can offer support, reach out to this incredibly valuable resource.

A small act of kindness can go a long way. 💛

And if today feels heavy, you deserve that same kindness, too. You don't have to go through it alone.

Call, text, or chat 988 to connect with someone who cares.

This news piece highlights the difference Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. can make in the lives of young people. We are so fortunate in Monroe County, NY to have county funding available for community-based alternatives to incarceration for first-time juvenile offenders. Our Monroe Count YAP office truly makes a significant and measurable difference in the lives of young people and helps them turn their lives around.

Tarrant Judge Alex Kim: “I believe that as a society, we focus too much on kids’ self-esteem and not enough on their self-control.”
