Seeds of Carma has been such a gift these past few months! 🌱
Thanks to this incredible community, we've been able to support so many families with clothing, baby gear, and household essentials. We are beyond grateful for every donation and every person that has walked through our doors.

Right now, we're especially in need of girls clothing sizes 18 months - 6T. If you have gently used items to give, we'd love to accept your donation!

We're excited to share that Families First of Minnesota has been named the Featured Charity of the quarter at Rochester Athletic Club! 💙

Stop by the RAC's front desk to check out our display case, and don't miss the weekly silent auction happening now. Bid on silent auction merchandise like sports jerseys, memorabilia, and more. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting young children and families right here in Southern Minnesota.

New items are in all the time, so keep checking back for something you'd like to take home! Thank you, Rochester Athletic Club, for helping us give kids and families a strong start. 🙌

We deeply appreciate the support and service of our Transition 2 Kindergarten Network co-conveners, Amanda Lacek, Sandy Simar, and Erica Schumacher, who completed their roles at the end of the school year. Amanda and Sandy have guided the network since its inception, and Erica – also an early member of the group – took on a leadership role a couple of years ago. They have all been instrumental in the network's growth, and we thank them for their dedication and partnership.

The Rural Child Care Innovation Program (RCCIP) applications open tomorrow, July 15!

Our friends at Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation are partnering with First Children's Finance - Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families to offer the Rural Child Care Innovation Program (RCCIP), a community engagement process designed to address the challenges of childcare in rural America.

Applicants can include a single city, a cluster of small towns, a school district or a single county. Metro areas are excluded from the applicant pool as preference is given to rural communities.
