Help us welcome our newest Rotarian, Jeff Ogonowski!

My Day Job:
I’m a pastor at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church.

Why I Joined Rotary:
I joined the Rotary because of its core commitments and to develop relationships with other business leaders.

Fun Fact About Me:
I also teach piano because, like most millennials, I need multiple jobs. In all seriousness, though, I greatly enjoy teaching, and I love working with students.

This Tuesday at noon, make sure to stop by and welcome Jeff. We will also have guest speaker Steve Oehler giving us an update on club support for the Rotary International Foundation!

That is a wrap on the 2026 Rochester Rotary Charities Golf Outing — and what a day it was. ⛳

To say it was a success would be an understatement.

Rochester showed up. The golfers showed up. The sponsors showed up. And because of every single person who teed off, signed on, and showed out at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club on Monday — Rochester Rotary Charities gets to keep doing what it has done since 1952.

Funding scholarships. Supporting local nonprofits. Serving children, seniors, veterans, and working families right here in our community. Fighting to end polio worldwide. Building a Rochester that people are genuinely proud to call home.

None of that happens without days like Monday. None of it happens without YOU.

A massive thank you to every golfer, sponsor, dinner guest, volunteer, and community member who made this outing one for the books. Your generosity is not just a number on a page — it is real impact in real lives across Rochester and beyond.

This is Service Above Self in action. And we are so grateful.

Help us welcome our newest Rotarian, Cody Salinas !

My Day Job:
I’m a Farm Bureau Insurance agency owner here in Oakland County. I’ve been in the insurance industry for six years, with a focus on commercial insurance and helping contractors, manufacturers, and other Michigan businesses protect what they’ve worked hard to build.

Why I Joined Rotary:
I joined Rotary because I wanted to become more connected to the Rochester community, build relationships with other local leaders, and find meaningful ways to give back to the community.

Fun Fact About Me:
I’m originally from The Woodlands, Texas, and I played rugby at LSU. So, if you ever need someone to talk football, rugby, or Texas, Louisiana, or Michigan, I’m your guy!

Monday was something special. ⛳

Rochester Rotarians and friends showed up and showed OUT for the 2026 Rochester Rotary Charities Golf Outing at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club — and the support in that room was something else entirely.

This is what community looks like in action. People choosing to spend their Monday on a golf course not just for the game — but for Rochester. For the scholarships. For the nonprofits. For the neighbors who need it most.

We are still taking it all in.

Hit the 💛 and follow along — more photos, highlights, and the final numbers are coming. You are not going to want to miss it.

Most clubs give you a tote bag.

Rotary gives you a monthly magazine keeping you connected to one of the most impactful organizations on the planet.

Every issue covers what Rotary International is doing globally — where the work is happening, how you can get involved, and why it matters. It’s the kind of read that reminds you exactly why you showed up in the first place.

Perks of being a Rotarian hit different.
