Grateful to be part of the Nazareth University Student Engagement Expo today! 💜

We loved connecting with students and sharing the many ways they can get involved with Rochester Hope—from volunteering and internships to Partners for Serving and other opportunities to serve our community.

We’re always grateful for the energy, talent, and commitment Nazareth students bring to Rochester Hope. Thank you for having us! 🤝

Thanks to our incredible team of volunteers and employees, we once again received Foodlink’s highest rating for compliance in food safety protocols and procedures. Pictured here are just a few of the hundreds of people that give of themselves to ensure that we can provide healthy, nourishing food for all those who come through our doors. Thank you!

As the new school year approaches, we're seeing a big increase in the need for school-aged children's clothing. If you're cleaning out closests, we would be especially grateful for gently used children's clothing, shoes, hoodies, jackets, and backpacks. Every donation helps a local child head into the new school year feeling confident an cared for!

📍 Drop-off: 869 N. Clinton Ave., Rochester
🗓️ Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9 AM–2 PM
🗓️ Fridays & Saturdays: 9 AM–3 PM

We are always grateful for donations of gently used men's women's and children's clothing. Thank you for being willing to be caring hands in the heart of our city.

🚨 We need a few extra helping hands this Saturday! 🚨

This Saturday is going to be a busy one at Rochester Hope, and we’re a little short on volunteers.

If you’ve been thinking, “I should volunteer sometime,” this is your invitation! ❤️

Whether you can give us a few hours or stay for the whole day, your help will make a real difference as we welcome our neighbors, stock and organize the pantry, serve the community meal, and keep everything running smoothly.

Our regular volunteer shifts are 9:00 AM–12:30 PM and 12:00–3:30 PM, but you don’t have to commit to a full shift. Come for whatever time works with your schedule—even an hour or two can make a difference!

📍 Rochester Hope N. Clinton Food Pantry, 869 N Clinton Ave
🗓️ This Saturday, and every Saturday!

Can you lend a hand? Bring a friend, come for a few hours, and help us make Saturday happen. We’d love to have you with us!

Every helping hand matters. 💙

Situated on the boarder of the 14605 and 14621 zip codes, we see all four of the takeaways listed below lived out every day at the Rochester Hope N Clinton Food Pantry. Join us as we work to share nutritious food with our neighbors by either volunteering or contributing financially to our efforts. Together we can make a difference!

It's been two weeks since the release of Feeding America's annual Map the Meal Gap report. Here are (4) takeaways about our 10-county service area:

1️⃣ 12.4% of the population (156K people) in Foodlink’s 10-county service area live in a household experiencing food insecurity.

2️⃣ The City of Rochester is home to 4 zip codes with food-insecurity rates more than double the region’s average. (14605 – 36.8%; 14614 – 32.1%; 14621 – 28.8%; 14608 – 27.5%)

3️⃣ 37.7% of those experiencing food insecurity do not meet the income eligibility threshold to qualify for SNAP assistance.

4️⃣ Food insecurity does not impact everyone equally. If you are Black or Hispanic, you are 3x more likely to experience food insecurity.

Fresh produce from the garden is the BEST! We are so thankful to G and S Orchards, the Martin G Pedraza Community Garden, the Don Cushing Memorial Gift Garden at Church of The Transfiguration and all of our local gardeners for sharing their bounty with the people of Rochester Hope. This enables hundreds of people to have more access to fresh, nutritional fruit and vegetables. Thanks also to the volunteers willing to help to pick up and drop off these donations - an invisible but critical role!

Thank you all!
