Announcement 📣 📣 📣

The Rochester Police Benevolent Association has been accepted to partner with The Lilac Club Casino from 6/30/2026 to 7/9/2026 as a part of the charitable gaming non profit program!

Opportunities like this don’t come often so grab a friend or two, head to the casino and help raise funds that assist the Rochester Community when citizens need assistance. This funding will allow for further Community Events with Public Safety, Educational Partnerships, Athletic Scholarships, College Scholarships and much much more.

We thank you for your support and we’ll see you at the Casino!

🧩 April is Autism Awareness Month across the nation 🧩

As a sign of support, inclusion and awareness, the Rochester Police Department has allowed the Benevolent Association to produce limited patches for purchase.

Partnered with Spaulding High School Art Department, students submitted their artwork and as a result, one student was selected to represent their design on our patch.

As the departments Autism Elopement Liaison, Detective Bibeau and Dispatcher Brady aim to bridge the gap between first responders in our city and our citizens to respond appropriately for persons with elopement and communication limitations for effective resolutions at home, school and in the public.

In 2025, the National Autism Safety Council reports 96 fatalities of individuals who eloped and were sadly not recovered safely.

This statistic holds true to our agency as this program has successfully reunited 4 people in the last year proactively locating elopement individuals before their caregivers had reported the incident.

If you have a person in your life that resides in Rochester, NH please reach out to [email protected] or 603-330-7128 to sign up for this free program. Dispatcher Brady and Detective Bibeau are passionate individuals who encourage all to register.

Limited patches are for sale, $10.00 each and can be purchased at the Rochester Police Department.

As we approach the end of the year, we would like to circle back to the month of October where the RPBA was able to represent each elementary school that held a trunk or treat or Halloween event by gifting, some sweet treats and snacks to the children of the community. Some even had a chance to meet Elmo!

Thank you to Lt. Knox, Detective Bibeau, Detective Labosier, Officer Settele, Officer Root, Officer Birmingham, Officer Downs, Officer Bradley, Officer Sauriol and Officer Bernatchez for this dedication to community policing!
