🐾 The sweetest happy ending for Lucy & Ethel! ❤️

When Ethel’s adopter came for her meet & greet, she brought her sister along. Her sister met Lucy, fell in love, and came back the very next day to adopt her!

Now Lucy and Ethel are going home with two sisters—Ethel with one sister and Lucy with the other—so these girls will still get to see each other often for playdates and family gatherings. 🥹🐾

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better fit for these two! ❤️

Friends, we need your help finding this beautiful girl a HOME! Meet Feta. She’s been waiting for her person since MAY and has been living in boarding while Forever Fido continues searching for the family she deserves. Feta was found on her own in Grand Meadow and was caught by Nicole & Jessi with Forever Fido. Since then, she’s been safe and cared for — but boarding is no place to call home forever.
• Fully vetted
• Spayed
• Microchipped
• Heartworm negative
• Lyme positive, but has been treated
• LOVES people
• Seems to do well with some dogs
• No cats, please!

🐾 Meet Ethel! 🐾

Ethel and her sister, who you'll meet tomorrow, have quite the story. ❤️

These two girls were found on the side of the road in the South in over 100° heat. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan spotted them, got them somewhere safe, and took them both in.

Like so many rescues right now, the rescues in her area were completely full. Through a mutual connection, we were asked if we could help—and somehow these two little Southern girls made their way to Minnesota. 🥰

Now Ethel is officially AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 🎉

She is crate trained, sweet, adorable, and… well… a complete mystery when it comes to her breed. 😂 We truly have NO idea what this girl is!

Carl headed off to his new home! His new mom and fur-sister drove over 2 hours to meet him! He's got a lot of fun adventures in his future!

Bella is hanging with our foster in Rochester for the weekend. Her foster has said:

"Bella was chill and quiet. She’s a good girl - more confident than I expected in downtown Rochester!
Conquered stairs and elevator already - did a whole loop of soldiers field with Riku!"

Bella is the last of the litter and she has had no apps. She's adorable and doing great in downtown Rochester!

Even though our goal was to continue Forever Fido but scale back and keep things small, the way things have gone over the last few weeks, that hasn’t exactly been possible! And now we have some vetting expenses ahead of us and we could use some help.

🐾 Jazper, Lucy and Ethel (just came in Saturday) all need spays/neuters.
🐾 Jazper, John, Bella and Carl all needed exams, rabies and distemper vaccines.
🐾 Lucy also has a lump on her elbow we need to get looked at.
🐾 Victoria had to be spayed, needed a dental which resulted in 9 teeth being removed. She also had allergy and ear infections and needed more vet care than our typical rescues- her bill alone was over $1,000. (She is not quite ready for adoption and will have requirements for her new home).

If you are interested in any of these cuties, you can find them on our website! If they are not yet listed as available, you can still fill out an application. When we feel they are ready to move on to their forever homes, we will look at the applications we already have on hand first.

Between 6 and 7th Ave SE by the Civic Center. Rochester

Been hanging around for a few days and we're not sure if it's been dumped.. Unfortunately Nicole can't take it in because of her cats and allergies to long hair cats and the farm needs dog savvy cats or they get themselves killed.

It is not microchipped. I (Nicole) has not picked it up to know what s*x it is.

If there is a rescue willing to take it, please reach out. Unfortunately, until we have a place for it to go, we cannot do much for it other than giving it food. So right now it's still just roaming the neighborhood.

If it is your cat and you're in the area, let's please get it microchipped (we can help with that) so we know it belongs to someone!

The big dogs rolled in s**t on our walk- Jon had FOMO and thought he needed to be wiped down as well!

Jon could be looking for a home, reach out if you’d like to meet him.

He’s very smart, affectionate, calm, and confident and a possible candidate for our Freedom Fidos program.

However we don’t like to have puppies at the farm too long and since two of his siblings still need home IF someone loved him we’d adopt him out and keep a littermate.
