HAPPENING TODAY: Pride Day at Brighton Farmers' Market, presented by Town of Brighton in partnership with Rochester LGBTQ+ Together, will be held on Sunday, June 7 in the Golisano Institute parking lot (150 Sawgrass Dr. Rochester, NY 14618), 9:00am-1:00pm. All ages. Free. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

🌈 The special event will include: Welcome & opening remarks from Town of Brighton and event organizers, Live music performances, Community organization tabling, Market Vendors & More! Let’s all come out for a fun day at the market in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community!

HAPPENING TODAY: Join Rochester LGBTQ+ Together on 1st Saturdays monthly at 1:00pm for our Saturday Stroll program for exercise, nature and conversation! This program is open to all members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and allies of all ages. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

🌈🌳 This Month: Our June 6 location is North Ponds Park in Webster, NY. (Google Plus Code: 87M46H86+97). Meet up nearby at the start of the paved path at 1:00pm and depart together around 1:05pm. See attached map.

♿️ Accessibility/Difficulty: This program typically lasts 60-90 minutes. They are considered easy difficulty level. This venue has paved paths with some narrow/uneven spots.

🅿️ Parking: We will park in the parking area just off/beside Rt. 104. There are ample paved spaces.

🚭 Health & Safety: Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing, accessories and sun protection. Don’t forget to bring hydration too! Smoking, va**ng, alcohol consumption and substance use are strictly prohibited while with our group. We do not allow pets on strolls for safety reasons.

Rochester LGBTQ+ Together is proud to sponsor The Center for Youth’s Big Q***r Prom, Pittsford CommUNITY’s Pittsford Pride Festival, Henrietta Pride Festival, and Girls Rock! Rochester’s Pride Rock Camp again this year! These youth-focused programs and events, and others like them, are essential for the well-being of local LGBTQIA2S+ young people in Rochester and Monroe County. They can, indeed, be life-saving. Everyone deserves welcoming, affirming and safe spaces to exist as their authentic selves. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
