Moving forward, we will be naming all units after someone whose life and journey with cancer was filled with hope and inspiration.

An excerpt from a patient who recently stayed at Healing Flats.

Healing Flats felt welcoming and just like a home the minute we walked through the door. It was a short drive to the hospital for daily appointments and many walking trails near by for relaxation and getting some much needed exercise. I believe staying with Healing Flats aided in Kevin's recovery as he was able to continue with many of his normal day to day activities just like at home. We are forever grateful for the care we received through Mayo and the home provided by Healing Flats.

Turning away guests is hard and never gets easier.
The good news is that we are booked until April, the bad news is that we have not had vacancy since we opened in June and turn away people every week.

Today would have been Mike's 40th birthday. I'm sure he's impressed by how far we have come. I also know he had no doubts about making Healing Flats a reality- he was always faithful in answering the call and trusting God to make things happen. Happy birthday Mike, you continue to inspire me to keep helping others!
