This month, the Rochester City Council recognized REJI’s 2025 graduates and Justice Scholars for their extraordinary achievement and commitment to higher education in our community. We are so proud and honored to have been a part of these students’ academic journeys and can’t wait to see their next life milestones in Rochester and beyond. Thank you to the Rochester City Council for honoring our exceptional students and recognizing the value that access to higher education creates in our community and beyond.

REJI takes a holistic approach to identify areas of need for formerly incarcerated scholars to continue postsecondary education. Thanks to the exceptional work of our Reentry Coordinator, Thomas Gant, and our Assistant Director of Community Outreach, Precious Bedell, many students have returned home and continued their education with our support.
