Hello REGION 1 NSBE UPSTATE ZONE, the time has finally come. Here is the information you’ve all been waiting for regarding the Upstate Fall Zone Conference.

The theme of FZC is the one of Annual Convention: " Inspire! Excel! Impact! "

FZC will take place at the Rochester Institute of Technology (National Society of Black Engineers | RIT) on October 5th, 2024 from 8am to 5pm in the SHED building. This is a one day event full of networking and professional development within our Upstate Zone chapters.

To successfully register complete the Registration Form and Purchase a Ticket! Remember to save your receipt, you will need it on the day of the conference!

The Rochester NSBE Professionals Chapter will be participating as panelists on the College to Career Panel: Unlocking the Path to Professional Success for the University of Rochester NSBE Week.

This panel will take place at the U of R's Rush Rhees Library in Humanities Conference Room D on Friday 9/13 from 5 PM - 6 PM.

We encourage those who are able to come support this event as this is a wonderful opportunity for our chapter to begin collaboration efforts with the local NSBE collegiate students from both U of R NSBE and RIT NSBE (who are also invited to this event 😊).

The Rochester NSBE Professionals Chapter welcomes all local Black STEM professionals and leaders to join us at Legacy Wine Bar (a black woman owned business) for our Wine Down Wednesday - Meet & Greet Mixer 🍷🥂🍸. Feel free to bring friends and family who may be interested in this event.

During this event the executive board will go through the benefits of joining NSBE, upcoming goals and plans for this year, and answer any questions.

This event is business casual attire and attendees must be 21+ to attend.

Our executive board will be wearing green 💚 to represent NSBE's Region 1 and to clearly show who you can ask questions to.

Happy Juneteenth Everyone!!! ❤💛💚 If you're in Rochester, NY and have the day off, come celebrate Juneteenth at the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) in the Eisenhart Auditorium from 12 PM - 5 PM! THIS EVENT IS FREE!

This event will have "oratorical performances by local community members and youth, live music, face painting, hands-on activities and crafts, delicious food, handmade goods from local Black-Owned businesses, and more."
