This is why we do what we do…

A student we served through Fulton County JCAP stopped by today. I’d like to say I was surprised to see him, but honestly, I wasn’t. There was never much doubt in my mind that he would succeed. He was an amazing student and a member of last year’s graduating class.

At the time, there were a lot of uncertainties about what his next chapter would look like after Fulton County. He was hopeful and determined, but none of us knew exactly what the future held.
When I presented him with his diploma at last year’s JCAP graduation, he asked me to “hold on to it for me because one day I’ll come pick it up.”

Today was that day. 🥳

Seeing him walk through our doors, knowing what he has overcome and that he is continuing to move forward, was a pretty special moment.
We’re incredibly proud of him and excited to see where his next endeavor takes him.
Sometimes, success isn’t just about earning a diploma. It’s about having someone believe in you long enough for you to believe in yourself. Keep grinding, Cary! 💪

This is why we do what we do.

we are "really" excited to start this book with the youth!

Tame Your Thoughts is a practical, Scripture-centered Bible study that shows you how to recognize lies, replace them with truth, and discover lasting freedom. Drawing from the wisdom of Max Lucado, David Jeremiah, Dallas Willard, Craig Groeschel, and others, Josh Hunt weaves biblical teaching with engaging discussion questions that spark honest conversations and real-life change.

You’ll learn how to:
Take every thought captive to Christ
Uproot toxic thinking and replant God’s Word
Overcome anxiety, guilt, lust, fear, and dissatisfaction
Find joy by trusting the goodness of God

Lessons include:
Think About What You Think About (Romans 12:2)
Practice Picky Thinking (2 Corinthians 10:3–5)
Identify UFOs (Genesis 3:1–5)
Uproot and Replant (Psalm 1)
When You Battle Anxious Thoughts (Philippians 4:4–7)
When You Struggle with Guilt (2 Corinthians 7:10; 1 John 1:9)
When You Can’t Find Joy (John 15:11; Philippians 3:1, 4:4)
When You Are Lured by Lust (2 Samuel 13:1–22; Matthew 5:27–30)
When You Feel Overwhelmed (1 Samuel 17:1–50)
When You Are Puzzled by Pain (1 Corinthians 13:12; Job 1–2)
When You Fear God’s Rejection (Romans 5:8; John 5:24; Ephesians 2:8–9)
When You Can’t Get No Satisfaction (Luke 12:15; Philippians 4:11–13)
