Incorporated in 2006, FLFAA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization based in Rochester, New York. Our mission is to enrich the lives of displaced cats and kittens and our primary focus is on curbing the cat overpopulation problem. We believe in educating the public on the consequences of irresponsible cat ownership and empowering those who seek help with stray or feral cats. We aim to provide the community with the knowledge and tools needed to become proactive in the fight against cat overpopulation. All of our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We are entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers and funded through private donations. We reply on a generous public to support our efforts. We are currently a foster based network serving the greater Rochester, NY area but we are working towards raising funds to build a new shelter.
