Incorporated in 2006, FLFAA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization based in Rochester, New York. Our mission is to enrich the lives of displaced cats and kittens and our primary focus is on curbing the cat overpopulation problem. We believe in educating the public on the consequences of irresponsible cat ownership and empowering those who seek help with stray or feral cats. We aim t

o provide the community with the knowledge and tools needed to become proactive in the fight against cat overpopulation. All of our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We are entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers and funded through private donations. We reply on a generous public to support our efforts. We are currently a foster based network serving the greater Rochester, NY area but we are working towards raising funds to build a new shelter.

9-year-old Boris was wondering if you saw his television debut this past Saturday on our Tails of Hope Telethon presented by Hoselton Auto Mall. He did an amazing job but is still here waiting for a new family. 💜

We hope you will come to meet him today. Don't forget, with our Seniors-for-Seniors program, anyone aged 60 or older can adopt a dog or cat aged 6 or older for FREE!

Spring is Kitten Season! Did you know that cats are seasonal breeders and can stay in heat until bred? This is why it’s so important to continue to work on population control by spaying and neutering. We currently have a beautiful queen with her 4 kittens, and 2 gorgeous young adult female cats for adoption. All will be fully vetted before going to new homes and will be available in 2 months.
