APLD Virtual Chapter's Certification Prep Course, taught by Marti Neely, FAPLD

The Virtual Chapter is excited to once again offer a 6 session, intensive course to prepare you for the Certification Process. THIS IS A PREP COURSE ONLY. It will prepare you to submit for APLD Certification when you're ready.

The classes will be led by Marti Neely, FAPLD. Marti served on the APLD Certification Committee for 16 Years, and she will bring her expertise to take attendees from selection to submission.

Class Format is ZOOM- with face to face time and Q&A after each session.

WHEN:

Session 1: Overview and project selection - Wednesday 1/24, 6-8pm ET

Session 2: Core Competency 1 | Landscape Design and Design Process - Sunday 1/28, 2-4pm ET

Session 3: Core Competency 2 | Design Graphics - Wednesday 1/31, 6-8pm ET

Session 4: Core Competency 3 | Horticulture and Plant Knowledge - Sunday 2/4, 2-4pm ET

Session 5: Core Competencies 4 & 5 | Environmental Awareness and Sustainability & Landscape Construction - Wednesday 2/7, 6-8pm ET

Session 6: Preparing your Portfolio for Submission - Sunday 2/11, 2-4pm ET

COST- $200.00 for the entire course for Virtual Chapter Members ($225.00 for non-chapter members) You will buy ONE TICKET for the entire course at check-out. It will list the first date but will cover all sessions.

GM....great day to be alive and a landscape designer. Hope everyone is surviving this onslaught. I wanted to put this helpful information out because I benefited from it greatly in the last month. I tried to get him as a sponsor, but his firm is still young...so I am going to support him because he has a great product. How do you present plant material chosen for a design to a client? I would either print them up all in a package or put a bunch of links in an email....WOW! Talk about time consuming. I have a better way now!!!!! Plantmaster.com

You choose your plants selected for a design put them into a Project folder and give link to client. Talk about quick, easy and effective. If you want to talk to Gerry directly, please get a hold of me.
