In October, 2013, Armani, a 23lb Cockapoo, was brutally beaten during a home invasion. Armani survived only due to the loving care he received at the University of Missouri Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Upon seeing the astronomical vet bills that it took to keep Armani alive, Armani's mom, Jessica Robertson, decided to start Armani's Angels. Armani's Angels is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to assist in the treatment of ill or injured animals.

Meet Shorty 💛

On Friday night, we received a call that this sweet, deeply loved girl needed emergency surgery to save her life. Shorty was suffering from a pyometra—an infected uterus—a serious but common condition in unspayed female dogs.

Thanks to the incredible team at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic , Shorty was stabilized overnight, giving her the strongest possible chance going into emergency surgery.

Her family shared this about their beloved girl:

“Shorty has been part of our family for over 12 years. She was our very first dog and the start of our little pack of three. She’s independent, gentle, and happiest just relaxing, being petted, or soaking in the world around her. She loves walks, sitting with us during movies, and simply being close. She’s not wild—she’s a people dog who just wants to be loved.”

Shorty is more than a pet—she’s family. And she’s exactly why we do what we do. 🐾💛

We have to take a minute to give some serious love to Cosmo, who absolutely brought the energy to our event! From keeping the music on point to working the mic like a pro, he helped set the vibe from start to finish.
Cosmo’s expertise, timing, and crowd-reading skills made everything run smoother—and more fun. He jumped in wherever needed, kept things moving, and helped us create an atmosphere that felt electric, welcoming, and unforgettable.
We are so grateful for his help, his talent, and the incredible energy he shared with us all night long. Thank you, Cosmo, for being such a huge part of making this event a success—we couldn’t have done it without you! 💛🎶🙌
