Lindsay Moorehead represented and spoke at the Kiwanis meeting this morning, highlighting their donation to the American Youth Soccer Organization located in Rochelle. Appreciation is extended to the community members / organizations who generously contributes to our Region.

We are watching the weather for tonight. If there is a tornado watch or warning, practices will be canceled. And any lightning, practices will be postponed or canceled until it rolls out of the designated area. Coaches will let you know what their plans are for rescheduling practices or just canceling, if we have to say there is no playing on the fields.

Don’t forget pictures, free hot chocolate, and if you need a size large socks, coach T-Shirt, concessions, or lost and found will all be found at the Soccer Shack.

We have decided to cancel games tomorrow, due to how fields were Thursday night and getting more rain tonight. Coaches will let you know when those make up games will be.

**Hot Chocolate Tickets will be able to be used on the yummy hot chocolate next weekend. **

Tomorrow is game day. We haven’t had many practice days this week. If you haven’t been out there, the fields are a mess and they aren’t going to be any better with flood warnings for tonight into morning. It is so bad, that just walking out may ruin socks and shoes (or at least make them a sloppy mess).

Our rule of thumb is cancel only on tornados and delay into cancel with lightning.

We just want to give everyone a heads up that there maybe some muddy kids into cars and to be prepared.

Happy first soccer game day!! Great job to all our players and coaches! Each player should have gotten a coupon to redeem a free hot chocolate at the concession stand. We will still have hot chocolate with toppings available next week if you didn’t get a chance to get yours today!
