🌞 Sunshine Playground Gratitude Post 🌞

We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped bring the Sunshine Playground to life for our community. This project truly shows what happens when people come together with generous hearts and willing hands.

A huge thank you to Darrell & Vicki Thomas, the Roby Lions Club, Tom Steinbach, Caden Wyatt, Kendall Thomas and his crew with Missouri Reclaimed Timber, Jim Pass, the Roby Fire Department, Big Johnson Power Washing, and the Texas County Emergency Response Team for their time, hard work, and dedication in installing this playground.

And a very special thank you to Charlotte Williams for making sure these men were well fed while they worked. It did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated!

This playground will bring smiles, laughter, and memories for years to come, and it wouldn’t have been possible without each of you. Thank you for investing in our kids and our community. 💛

We are incredibly grateful to MFA Oil and the MFA Oil Foundation for their generous support of our community!

Thanks to their grant, the Citizens Center will be able to add updated commercial-grade tables.

The MFA Oil Foundation is pleased to support the Citizens Center of Northwest Texas County with a grant to purchase commercial-grade folding tables. These additions will provide flexible, durable space for meals, activities, and community gatherings, helping the center better serve local residents.

‼️We’re asking for the community’s help‼️

Recently, damage was done at the community center, and we are trying to identify the vehicle(s) involved. If you were in the area, have security footage, or noticed anything unusual, please reach out or send us a message. Any information big or small could help.

We also want to remind everyone that the trash can at the community center is intended for light, on-site use only. It’s perfectly fine for small items while visiting, but it is not meant for household or large-scale trash disposal brought from home.

We appreciate everyone helping us take care of this shared space. Thank you for looking out for your community.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, give, and support our little town. We truly live in one of the greatest communities — one that steps up time and time again.

A huge thank‑you to LeeAnn Wolfe and the Houston Welding Program for building the beautiful memorial archway. Your work means so much to us, and Pam would be extremely proud.
