4th/5th Grade Parents: CIY dropped their 2027 event theme yesterday and we are SO excited to announce that this next year's theme is “Real Friends!”

Today, it’s harder than ever for students to know who their "Real Friends" are, as well as know how to be a "Real Friend" to others. The friends that we choose will shape the rest of our life. But, how do we know if someone is a "Real Friend?" And how do we know if we are being one?

This coming February, we will be taking registered 4th & 5th graders to Christ In Youth's SuperStart event in order to dive into Scripture to discover what it truly means to be a "Real Friend."

Together, our preteens will unpack the friendship of Jesus: the friend who washed dirty feet, forgave us even when we didn’t deserve it, and laid down his life for others. And the craziest part? He calls us friends too!

As we look forward to this event, we can’t wait to see how each of our students are going to work together to cheer on their favorite mascot in the dramatic Mascot Battle teaching elements, as well as encourage one another to become “Real Friends” during this unique weekend of fun, faith, and the official crowning of one Mascot Champion (who points right back to what a "Real Friend" should look like...Jesus 😉) that they’ll never forget!

Because seats fill-up quickly on opening registration day (Oct. 6th), HCC will be running our student registrations from Sunday, Sept. 6th (THIS Sunday) - Sunday, Sept. 20th. Student information packets (including student registration forms) will be available for pickup starting this Sunday within our 1st-5th grade classroom, as well as at our Rte. 33 Kiosk station for any 4th/5th grade student who might be interested in attending this upcoming event with us!

REMINDER for our Rte. 33 Families and Children's Team:
This coming Sunday, August 9th, we will all be learning and worshipping together within the Auditorium for a "Family Sunday" event during both of our regular service times of 9:00am and 10:30am.

Our Nursing Mother's Room within our Children's Ministry will be open and available if needed; however, no regular Children's classes will be offered this Sunday. Children's classes will reconvene the following Sunday on the 16th.

Following our Sunday morning service times, our Children's Ministry will be hosting an "End of Summer Messtival" event from 2:00-4:00pm within our parking lot. We would love to have your family join us for an exciting time of foam, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and a lemonade boba bar! If your family plans to participate with us during our Messtival event, modest dress of t-shirt, shorts, and sandals of some sort are required. Families will also want to bring their own towels and sunscreen if desired.

🍿 Today’s the day to POP UP!!! 🍿
Join your child(ren) this morning as they enter their new classroom (either for a simple “hello,” or to attend class with your child) and to enjoy a yummy, family treat during dismissal!

Our Team is ready and we can’t wait to see you this morning during either one of our offered service times (9:00am or 10:30am)! 🎉

🍿 Join us on the morning of Sunday, June 7th, THIS SUNDAY, (during either of our (9:00am or 10:30am service times) for our annual "Pop UP!" Sunday! During this special event, parents are invited back into our Children's Ministry area to meet their child(ren)'s new Sunday School teachers, help with child acclimation into their new classroom, and enjoy popcorn for the whole family upon child pickup! 😋

NEW THIS YEAR (Classroom updates): As we head into this year's "Pop UP!" Sunday, please note that we have a couple of classroom structure changes. Our upcoming classroom labels will be as follows: Nursery, Walkers, 2s3s, 4s5s (instead of "PreK"), and 1st-5th (instead of "K-5th"). Additionally, we will continue to offer our Apologetics and Foundations class during our 9:00am service time for our 4th & 5th grade students with an exciting and new direction in our teaching series!

Good Sunday morning, families!
Don’t forget! If you haven’t already signed for our “Walk In The Light” Family Resurrection Celebration Event coming up NEXT Sunday (3/29), today is the final day to make those reservations! (Reservations can be made on our online Connection Card located at hccrobinson.com)

During our time together, we will engage in worship, teaching, crafting, and then, at 3:30pm, our church family will be invited to join us for our glowing paper lantern parade and an additional time of worship together as we prepare our hearts and minds to enter a time of remembrance and celebration as we move into Holy Week together. 🌿✝️🙌💓
