Get ready for a fun-filled "Day on the Farm" with hands-on activities, snacks, a t-shirt, and so much fun! Participants will enjoy interactive learning, engaging farm experiences, and plenty of fun along the way.

Crawford County 4-H will be hosting a YQCA in-person training on June 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Extension Office. Youth can sign up for this $3.00 in-person training at yqcaprogram.org, or may take the $12 online course. This training must be done yearly.

4-H members enrolled in dairy and beef cattle, swine, sheep, and goats must take the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) certification annually. All registrations and payments are handled through the YQCA website, not the Extension Office. If you cannot attend this $3 in-person training, you must complete the $12 online version of the class and provide the Extension Office with your certificate number or a screenshot of a completion certificate by July 1, 2026.

Come celebrate the start of summer with our Teen Trip to Holiday World!

The cost is $25 per person, which covers your ticket and transportation—payment is due before the trip. Snacks will be provided on the bus, but please bring extra money for lunch.

Join our 4-H Fishing club to learn about all things fishing! We will be learning about lures and bait, enjoy some fishing, and participate in a fishing rodeo sponsored by the Eastern Illinois Sportsmans Club.

May 7, 14, 21, 28 at 5 p.m.
June 4 at 5 p.m.

Fishing Rodeo - June 6 at 9 a.m.

All events are held at the Eastern Illinois Sportsmans Club.

Non 4-H members are welcome to join for a $20 enrollment fee.
