Let's Talk, Mammograms” is a supportive and friendly event where women of all ages can learn and have fun. Grab a friend, neighbor, or coworker and enjoy an evening together with mocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, pinkalicious activities, informational tables, and a photo booth. Attendees will also receive a free make-up bag filled with an assortment of treats and self-care items.

We're Hiring!

We're looking for a part-time Nursing Coordinator for our Reading clinic. This part-time position will initially be about 20 hours per month - Tuesday mornings and the 4th Thursday of the month. We plan to increase the number of clinic session days moving forward.
Requirements are a current PA RN license, the ability to pass the PA and FBI Child Abuse background checks, and having worked on Epic or other electronic health records systems. Medical liability coverage will be provided by the clinic. Hourly pay is dependent on experience.

Berks Free Medical Clinic Venture Grant Update

About three years ago, United Way of Berks County awarded a $33,713 Venture Grant to the Berks Free Medical Clinic. This funding was used to open a satellite clinic at Mary’s Shelter.
The community rapidly embraced the new location. In 2024 the combined Berks Free Medical Clinic locations provided more than $179,000 in volunteer supported services between both offices. Together, we make good things happen in our community.
