Conrad Weiser Youth Softball Another awesome season of Lady Scouts Softball is here! There is no pitching, all hits are from a tee. All pitching is done by the batting teams coach.

We have many skill levels available for players of all ages and abilities.

6U For girls who are 6 years of age or under as of January 1, 2025.
~Play at this level is fairly similar to tee ball. While practices start at the end of March or early April this age group usually plays 6 games starting in late April and running through May. As part of the Berks County Girls Softball League this age gr

oup will play games against other members throughout Berks County.

8U - For girls who are 8 years of age or under as of January 1, 2025.
~Play at this level is fairly similar to tee ball. Half innings consist of offensive team batting through lineup or three outs, whichever comes first. While practices start at the end of March or early April this age group usually plays 8 games starting in late April and running through May. As part of the Berks County Girls Softball League this age group will play games against other members throughout Berks County.

10U - For girls who are 10 years of age or under as of January 1, 2025.
~Starting at this age group we try to offer multiple levels of competition. This is a great place to learn the game or develop skills for those more experienced players. Tournament play is also introduced at this age group. This age group typically starts practice in mid-March. They usually play a 10-game season starting in late April and running through early June. All games will be against other members of the Berks County Girls Softball League throughout Berks County.

12U - For girls who are 12 years of age or under as of January 1, 2025.
~This age group usually has multiple teams playing at various levels of competition. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned vet preparing for Junior High Softball we have a place for you. This level typically plays a 10-12 game season against other teams from throughout Berks County. Practices start mid-March with games being played from mid-April to early June. This level may also play in multiple tournaments. Some tournaments may be outside Berks County.

14U - For girls who are 14 years of age or under as of January 1, 2025.
~This age group is a great continuation of Junior High Softball. Practice for this age group starts in mid-May with games beginning in June and ending in July. This age group may also play in multiple tournaments including tournaments outside of Berks County.

CW Youth Softball – Update!
It’s been a busy few weeks across all of our teams, and the excitement is only growing as we head into the final stretch of the season!

12U
After a two‑week game break due to NEED camp and bad weather, our 12U girls are gearing up for a jam‑packed schedule over the next three weeks. They’re currently sitting at 2–2 and ready to get back on the field strong.

10U Blue
10U Blue is having an incredible season at 5–1 with a few games left — and they’re in position for a potential playoff run. Keep that momentum rolling!

10U White
Sitting at 1–7, this team has shown massive improvement all season long, especially with several players who are brand‑new to softball. Their growth has been amazing to watch.

8U Teams
Both 8U teams are absolutely crushing it — hitting well, fielding well, and even putting together innings where they’ve made three defensive outs before the opposing team could score. That’s huge at this age level!

6U
Our youngest athletes are doing fantastic with just a few games left. They’re learning, improving, and having a blast every time they take the field.

SENIOR NIGHT 2026 was a huge sucess!!! The girls got a win, we got to celebrate with the team and honor CW Softball Senior #23 Madison!!!!

What a special night it was having Madison's little sister Avery, who also plays CW (youth) softball, give her a gift from the youth club!!!!

Thankyou to all the girls that came tonight to cheer for the Highschool team!

Huge shout out to Domino's of Robesonia for the discounted pizzas to fuel our youth and Highschool team and coaches!!! Your kindness was greatly appreciated!!!!

Weekly Softball Recap

This week was packed full of games — even with the rain and cold trying to slow everyone down. On Monday, 10U White shivered their way through a strong matchup, coming up just a little short of a win. Our 12U team traveled to Schuylkill Valley and battled in a high‑scoring game, finishing with a close 13–15 final.

Tuesday brought more games and slightly less winter weather. 8U Blue put up 17 runs and made 8 outs — an impressive effort all around. 8U White played a great home game against Mifflin, bringing in 19 runs, and our 6U team took the field for their first home game against Wilson. Such an exciting milestone for our youngest players.

On Thursday, our 12U team came back with redemption on their minds and secured a 20–14 win over Wyomissing. Then on Friday, 10U White traveled to Kutztown and played their longest game ever, under the lights. They made some great plays but ultimately fell just short of a win.

We are so proud of all the girls and the growth we’re seeing already.

Good luck to every team this week as the schedule kicks into full swing with barely any time in between. And a huge thank‑you to all our coaches for everything you do — we appreciate you more than you know.
