What a great day of fellowship and serving. Thank you everyone who came out to get the mission done.

09/20/2026

Yesterday was so much more than just an “all hands on deck” work day at Camp Living Waters.

There were mowers running, tools in hand, rakes moving, sweat, tired backs, and plenty of work to be done. But as the day went on, it became so much more than simply getting a job finished.

It was fellowship.
It was laughter.
It was testimonies.
It was stories of years gone by and memories made on this land.
It was hearing how God has used this place in the lives of so many.
It was welcoming new serving hearts in and letting them become a part of the story God is still writing here.

Yesterday, I was reminded of the Psalms—especially the Songs of Ascents. God’s people would sing those songs as they traveled together toward Jerusalem to worship. I can only imagine how much sweeter the journey became because they were walking it together, encouraging one another along the way.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1 NKJV

That verse felt a little different yesterday.

We may have gathered to work on God’s land, but somewhere between the work, the conversations, the stories, and the serving, God gave us something far greater than a completed to-do list.

He gave us fellowship.
He reminded us of His faithfulness.
He connected old memories with new ones.
And He reminded us that we are all simply stewards of something He has entrusted to us.

There’s just something special about this place.

At Camp Living Waters, it seems like you come expecting one thing, and God always gives you so much more.

Yesterday wasn’t just a work day.

It was Kingdom work. It was fellowship. It was worship. And it was another chapter in the story God continues to write at Camp Living Waters.

So thankful for every willing hand, every serving heart, every story shared, and every person who chose to spend their day serving alongside us.

Where lives are changed. ❤️
