At the SOIL Foundation's camp ground our mission is to provide a safe, natural and tranquil environment to teach primitive and modern self reliance techniques. Our goal is to be a medium for empowering, healing and connecting individuals through an immersion in nature. Our primary focus is to provide primitive and non-primitive retreats for military and civil service personel (law enforcement, fir
efighters, etc.) that have suffered from overwhelming stress while in service to our country and communities. Stress that has manifested in their personal life as a series of mental and emotional challenges which impede living healthy, happy and connected lives. These courses also allow for families of these individuals to accompany them on the retreat as support and participants in events and tasks that rely on team work and trust to complete. Our secondary purpose is to provide excursion for troubled and underprivileged youth and their families. This will provide a safe place to get away and deal with the emotional challenges and social struggles of modern youth. Lastly, we provide adult camps for an escape from the over commitment and stress of the fast pace but monotonous everyday. To these seekers we offer a place for relaxation, fun and adventure. These retreats are available to individuals and families wishing to enjoy time away while meeting new friends in a rewarding yet self rejuvenate place.
