👀LOOK at what God has DONE🎉🎉🎉

Same conference room: August 2024 ➡️ November 5, 2025!

STAGE 3 is happening NOW!

The storm of August 2024 was devastating, but God is ALWAYS bigger. We have officially entered Stage 3 of the process to repair the 300s/Lakeside building at our beloved camp. So far, we are debt-free!

What happened?
The conference room and kitchen of the 300s/Lakeside Building was absolutely DESTROYED. Look at the pictures. The damage was severe enough for some to suggest we take it down to the slab. LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE!

The need:
We need $35,910 to completely restore the inside/outside of the conference room and kitchen. This amount includes almost everything, except for appliances.

Pray:
Pray for another miracle. Pray for the retreat happening in this very room this COMING February 2026. Men will be set free as they hear the good news of Jesus!

STAGE 2 - COMPLETED and DEBT FREE!!!

In August 2024, a storm destroyed over half of one of our buildings (Lakeside/300s) at the beloved West Texas Assembly of God Youth Camp.

The destruction was overwhelming, but God and the prayers of His people from literally around the world increased our faith for what can be.

STAGE 1 - Demolition, installation of enhanced, engineered trusses, and a new roof were completed in January 2025, DEBT FREE! Money and volunteers came from well beyond the confines of West Texas. It was a miracle!

Then we had to divert all prayers and energy to all the needs of hosting summer camps. The broken components of 8 rooms, a conference room, a commercial kitchen, and speakers’ rooms still loomed large. The estimated amount of money necessary to fix was six figures.

STAGE 2 - We jumped back into restoring the building just 9 WEEKS AGO. With a prayer and hope that God would meet every need (Philippians 4v19). And guess what? GOD DID IT!

We hosted the “West of 50s” retreat beginning this past week (The week of October 12). Even as people arrived, we were still at work installing toilets, cleaning the property, and moving furniture. All the while, we were pleading for the blood of Jesus to help us. GOD DID IT!

Look at the pictures. Eight rooms have been restored. We hosted 100+ people. To God be the glory!

STAGE 3 - It’s upon us. We are not looking back! We are restoring the conference room, kitchen, and speaker’s room. The cost is roughly 1/3 of what it should be: $35,910. The goal: Finish by the end of November. It will be incredible! It will look amazing! Pray for us to steward this moment faithfully for the glory of God and the ministry of the West Texas District Campground. Pray for more prayers, more faith, and the givers to help.

Oh, and we will not stop with STAGE 3. Pray to ignite our imaginations with the possibilities of what is next. It’s already being talked about…STAGE 4 - a concrete slab and the finishing touches of the outside of the building. And then, we move on to a much BIGGER DREAM! More to come!

The Lakeside 300s Building rebuild CONTINUES with Stage 2 and continues to be DEBT FREE!

The PAST two week's goal: COMPLETE electrical, COMPLETE plumbing, and COMPLETE hanging sheetrock, mud/tape, replace flooring in as many rooms as possible. We are almost there. There is still much to be done by West of 50s.

KEEP PRAYING! Join us in prayer (and in giving) as we work to have the entire building restored DEBT FREE by December 31, 2025. This goal includes completing Stage 2 (9 rooms) and Stage 3 (Conference Room and Kitchen).

This past week was the fulfillment of God's answers to YOUR prayers and generosity over the last three months! Miracles-galore. PRAISE GOD!

Trusses built and delivered. DEBT FREE!

Building materials. DEBT FREE!

General Contractor and team. DEBT FREE!

Stage 1 COMPLETED!

What's left? Two more stages, volunteers from all of West Texas, an estimated two dozen work days, and an estimated $35,000 is all that is left.

GOD IS DOING IT!!! 🙏

🎄CHRISTMAS FOR THE CAMP🎄

BIG NEWS...This post is for the storm damaged 300s Lakeside building.

Here is how you can pray and/or give (you, your business, or your church) to the needs of the camp this Christmas Season!

The goal is to have the 300s Lakeside building "Dried-In" (a fully covered, completed roof) by Thanksgiving. This includes: further demolishing, installation 86 wooden trusses, wall framing, roofing and gutters, exterior trim, and commercial glass doors.

*Commercial doors: $2,500
*Exterior trim (346 lin. feet fascia and 632 sq. feet soffit): $3,000
*Roof (5,540 sq. feet of sheets, ridge, eaves, etc.): $15,000
*Roof Framing (86 trusses with 26 ft span): $13,000
*Final Demo: $1,000
**All numbers are approximate and include professional labor**
***Rebuilding the inside of the hotel rooms, conference room, kitchen and ALL materials are NOT included in this post***

New Camp Project: UPDATE WATER BUILDING

Our water building holds 5,000 gallons of clean water. This building is critical to EVERYTHING! All camps, all retreats...year round clean water for every child, student, and adult.

Scott Price was introduced to our camp by the Living Water Emmaus Community of Plainview. He will lead a complete overhaul of the inside of our water building: wall insulation, ceiling install/insulation, stabilizing two water pumps, and pipe insulation.

Pray blessings over Scott and his team. Pray for provision. We will post material needs and ways to donate in upcoming posts. For the glory of God and the expansion of His Kingdom in West Texas!
