Thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Altoona Curve Charities Grant Program to the Dragon Pride Foundation, the warning track at the CHS varsity baseball field has been extended and renovated. The project scope included removing the old stone, expanding the depth of the warning track by approximately one foot, and rolling in DuraTrax 3/16 Aggregate Warning Track Material. The new material improves safety by providing a more even, sturdy surface for the players and also significantly improves the field appearance, bolstering Dragon Pride. The Central High School baseball field is used, not only for Spring Cove School District baseball games, but also by the school community for 19U Federation Baseball, 15U Federation Baseball, and 14U VFW Baseball throughout the summer. Many thanks to the Altoona Curve Charities Grant Program for sponsoring this project!

The Dragon Pride Foundation would like to thank Hometown Bank for their generous EITC donation of $5,000. Our community is so supportive and we are thankful! Donations like this enable the foundation to provide funds for innovative student, teacher and staff opportunities.
