Roans Prairie Community Center The Roans Prairie Community Center was established in 1982 to encourage fellowship and to help members of our community. Membership dues are $5 per person.

The rental rate is $200 for the day. Please call 936-874-2328 for booking.

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! … So are you coming??? The support is appreciated AND it is important that our local kids get the red carpet rolled out for them. We have my friend, Joni, owner of Hillbilly Brew, to serve hot chocolate to the kids, Shiro Volunteer Fire Department will be there to let the kids see the fire truck, free hot dogs with chips, cookie, drink and the POLAR EXPRESS movie for who ever wants to stay to watch it. That should start around 5:30 or shortly after that. Bring comfy clothes, chairs, blankets. Etc. Thank you in advance for your support.

This Saturday, December 13th the Roans Prairie Community Center will light the Christmas tree in honor of the late Mrs. Agatha Busa and the late Mr. Floyd Busa. Wayne Busa, their son, told me that they both enjoyed listening to 🎶 Hank Williams so I added one song for them. 🎶 Join us this Saturday! ❤️

TICKETS PLEASE!! It’s that time of year again and the Roans Prairie Community Center is proud to host the 3rd Annual Movie Night & Lighting of the Christmas Tree… Including everyone from the local community is what brings us joy. Please share and help us get the word out!
*if there are any businesses or individuals who would like to donate to this amAzing event, we would GREATLY appreciate it. Our goal is to feed everyone plus provide a gift for each child.
