Just an average night at the studio

Our whole vision for this space is to bring together artists from all over the community and have them meet and collaborate. So you can imagine how thrilled we are that some of our community is expanding and having a show all about the power of community.

Star City Dance Collective and Dream Dance Studio are coming together this Wednesday to host a performance for national dance day. This show brings performers from all over onto one stage, united by the language of dance.

Nights at the studio are always special, but tonight looking at everyone practice for a shared cause is amazing.

Get your tickets and go support some incredible artists as they pour their hearts out for you.

We are beyond thrilled to be back in print for Volume 3 of The Scout Guide! 💛

Being part of this incredible community for another year is such an honor, but what makes it truly special are the amazing friends, fellow business owners, and meaningful connections we’ve made along the way. Local business is all about community, and we couldn’t do what we do without the support of this wonderful network.

A massive thank you to Emily for your incredible vision, dedication, and for continuing to champion local businesses in such a gorgeous way.
To all the phenomenal creators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers featured alongside us in Vol. 3, shoutout to each and every one of you! Working alongside such a talented group inspires us every single day. 🥂✨

Grab a copy, support local, and look for our feature in the new volume!

🗞️ EXTRA EXTRA 🗞️

We are honored to be featured in the Baltimore Post-Examiner! 📰

The article highlights our commitment to enriching Roanoke, connecting our local talent to global opportunities, and investing back into the creative heartbeat of our city. Building a thriving arts ecosystem takes a village, and we couldn’t do this without our artists, supporters, and vibrant community 💜

Art brings us together, but the community makes us a family.

Our favorite thing about Star City Center for the Arts? The people who walk through our doors. You turn this space into a home 💜

📰🎥🤳🏻

From local headlines to regional features, it’s been incredible to see the vision of Star City Center for the Arts reaching so many people.

While we’re grateful for the recognition, what excites us most is what these stories represent: a community that believes in the arts. Every feature is a reflection of the dancers, musicians, artists, instructors, families, supporters, and dreamers who have helped bring this vision to life.

We’re honored to have our story told, but we’re even more excited to continue writing the next chapter together.

In a world that moves faster every day, we still believe in the beauty of old ways.

If you’ve received a physical inaction from us know that every invitation was handcrafted, wax sealed, stamped, and delivered with intention.

But fair warning, this is not your average ribbon cutting ceremony that you want to leave as soon as you arrive. This is an opening celebration worthy of the artists it was built for.

Join us for an afternoon filled with food trucks, local vendors, a live band outside, live music throughout the building, a book signing, and performances. From dance to music to visual art, every corner of the Center will be alive with creativity.

If we missed sending you a physical invitation… consider this reel your invitation.
Come celebrate the opening of Star City Center for the Arts, a new home for artists, performers, creatives, and community here in Roanoke.

The future of the arts deserves a beautiful beginning.
