While we’re grateful for the recognition, what excites us most is what these stories represent: a community that believes in the arts. Every feature is a reflection of the dancers, musicians, artists, instructors, families, supporters, and dreamers who have helped bring this vision to life.

We are getting close! 🎉

The summer event you’ve been waiting for is this Saturday!

We’ve been working around the clock updating the space, preparing gifts, and rehearsing for our launch party, and we cannot wait to open the doors and celebrate with you.

There will be so much happening throughout the day:
✨ Food trucks outside
✨ A grazing table inside
✨ Live classical music indoors
✨ A concert by 5 Dollar Shake outdoors
✨ Dance performances throughout the day
✨ A book signing with Gavin
✨ Artist booths outside
✨ Games and activities for kids

Whether you’re coming for the arts, the music, the food, or just to see what we’ve been building, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.

This event is free and open to everyone, and we can’t wait to welcome our community into the space.

In a world that moves faster every day, we still believe in the beauty of old ways.

If you’ve received a physical inaction from us know that every invitation was handcrafted, wax sealed, stamped, and delivered with intention.

But fair warning, this is not your average ribbon cutting ceremony that you want to leave as soon as you arrive. This is an opening celebration worthy of the artists it was built for.

Join us for an afternoon filled with food trucks, local vendors, a live band outside, live music throughout the building, a book signing, and performances. From dance to music to visual art, every corner of the Center will be alive with creativity.

At Star City, we believe that the best art happens in an environment where you feel secure, supported, and seen. To ensure our dancers and families can focus entirely on their craft, we maintain rigorous safety protocols across our entire facility.

Our Safety Standards
* Vetted Professionals: Every member of the Star City staff has cleared a comprehensive background check.
* Constant Monitoring: For added peace of mind, a security system is active in all common areas of the building.
* Fire Safety & Preparedness: We undergo bi-annual Fire Marshal inspections to ensure our fire extinguishers are current and our evacuation plans are optimized for rapid response.
* Medical Readiness:
* A full first aid kit and official accident reports are located in the lobby.
* Every individual studio is equipped with its own readily accessible first aid kit.
* Wellness & Facilities:
* Hydration stations are located throughout the facility to keep our dancers fueled and focused.
* We provide separate, dedicated girls and boys locker rooms equipped with full showers.

Commitment to Quality Instruction
To provide the personalized attention necessary for technical growth and injury prevention, all Star City School of Ballet classes are capped at 15 students per teacher.
