Blue Ridge Orchid Society of Virginia

Blue Ridge Orchid Society of Virginia BROSoV was founded in 1955. We are a member chapter of the American Orchid Society and the Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs. All are welcome!

We meet at 1:30pm, 2nd Sunday of the month at Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs, 3640 Colonial Avenue, Roanoke.

Peristeria elata, the national flower of Panama, growing in a BROSoV member's basement growspace. It just started blooming and is 66 inches tall (my husband is 6'1" for reference). This is such a fun, unusual orchid to grow and is really thriving under lights.
