Access to books early in life can shape a child's future. Kids surrounded by books tend to build language skills faster, perform better academically, and carry a love of reading with them into adulthood.

Turn the Page is working to make sure every child in Roanoke City has a personal library, starting at birth.

Our December Book’s and Breakfast was full of holiday cheer and festive fun as Santa stopped by Lincoln Terrace Elementary School, Westside Elementary School and Hurt Park Elementary to give out gifts in additions to books. 🎅🏽📚🎁

A big thank you to South Roanoke Nursing and Rehabilitation for sponsoring the event. Thanks to your generosity, Santa was able to give away over 400 gifts last Saturday!

This Holiday Season our friends at Valley View Barnes & Noble are collecting books for Turn the Page. It is generous, thoughtful and we know the children and families we serve at Carilion Clinic and Roanoke City Public Schools will enjoy these new books in the New Year.
