The Resolve Center, LLC

The Resolve Center, LLC Resolution-centered youth programming and school-wide discipline models aligned with CSA/FAPT. Every legal dispute can cause great emotion and hardship.

We equip youth, families, and systems with evidence-based tools for emotional regulation, accountability, safe communication, and respect-based behavior. The ReSolve Center is a safe place where legal disagreements can be negotiated with a Virginia Certified Mediator and Counselor, and an Attorney with broad experience, who is a member of the Virginia Bar Association. Together, they will guide you

through the tough and thorny issues toward workable and livable solutions. We will help you solve situations so that you can move forward with life. We begin by creating a roadmap to resolution that taps into where you are in the conflict when you come to us. Each problem or issue is unique, and so we treat each issue with a customized plan for resolution of the matter. We will work with you in a comfortable, private and confidential setting to help you through the process by listening to both of you, your concerns and what challenges you face. Together, we develop a roadmap to navigate you both to the destination of resolution. We are aware that people choose mediation for many reasons to attempt to resolve many types of issues. Therefore, a cookie-cutter approach to mediation does not work. We use an adaptive and flexible approach to mediation to address your needs. And we can use other professionals, such as accountants, health care providers, psychologists, to assist in meeting your unique needs.

We are incredibly grateful for the positive feedback received from our recent RT in HEART teleconference continuing education workshop, Rewiring Through Play: Neuroplastic Power Tools in Recreational Therapy.

With 297 attendees, outstanding engagement ratings, and so many meaningful comments about practical application, connection, and experiential learning β€” we are reminded how powerful play, neuroplasticity, and relational safety truly are in the healing process.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and shared your energy with us. We are excited to continue bringing practical β€œPower Tools” into recreational therapy, mental health, and trauma-responsive programming!

Feeling incredibly honored and excited to have the opportunity to present at the 2026 ATRA Southern California Conference alongside an amazing collaborative team!

Our post-conference workshop, Power Tools for Neuroplasticity: From Experiential Engagement to Clinical and Programmatic Change, will focus on practical, experiential strategies that build belonging, emotional regulation, connection, and behavior change through structured intervention and therapeutic recreation principles.

This work represents so much of what we are passionate about β€” helping people create meaningful change through engagement, reflection, practice, connection, and neuroscience-informed approaches. We are excited to share tools that clinicians, educators, recreation therapists, behavioral health professionals, and community providers can immediately apply within their own settings.

Huge gratitude to ATRA Southern California for this opportunity and to our incredible collaborative partners at Playful Pathways and The ReSolve Center. We cannot wait to connect, learn, and grow together in California!
