This is a monetary contribution we’ve given to the Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC), today in front of the Food Pantry in Lorton. Mason Neck Lions Club along with a grant from Lions of Virginia Foundation gave the LCAC a $2000 check for their Thanksgiving food pantry. They are helping more families this thanksgiving. Last year to this year LCAC had a 50%-60% increase of new clients that they are helping! Everyone feel free to join in and contribute to this fine cause!

The LOVF Board held its rescheduled June meeting on Saturday July 30th from 1-2:30 pm.
Among business conducted the Nominations Committee gave it report and the following Lions were elected as officers for 2022-2023.
President: PDG Lee Winder, 24-I
Vice President: PCC Wilma Murphy, 24-L
Secretary: Judy Alford, 24-C
Treasurer: PDG Doug Cross, 24-L
■Host for the meeting was the NoVa Lions Youth Camp Board. Thank you for the luncheon before the meeting and Campground tour.

The Virginia Lions Hearing Foundation now operates as a Committee under the Lions of Virginia Foundation, known as the Hearing Research Program. Please forward donations for Hearing Research or the Gill Fellowship Award to the LOVF Treasurer noting Hearing Research Program or Gill Award on memo line.
