A big thank-you to the Alleghany-Dunbar #109 Prince Hall Masons for spending their Saturday preparing dinner for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia! 🏡❤️

With our commercial kitchen currently undergoing renovations, we’re working with limited space, making the generosity and flexibility of our volunteers even more meaningful. Your willingness to step in and help ensure our families have a warm, comforting meal means so much!

Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and hearts with our families when they need it most. You are a wonderful reminder that even when our space is limited, the love and care we share have no limits! ❤️🙌

A HUGE thank you to The Hokie Way () for inviting Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia to join you at Hokie Village last Friday, October 2nd! We had an amazing time!

And then… GRIMACE showed up! 💜💜💜

📣 Insert screams of excitement from EVERYONE! 😂🎉

People couldn’t get enough of Grimace, and we loved seeing all the smiles, hugs, high-fives, and of course… ALL THE PICTURES! 📸💜

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table, said hello, snapped a picture with Grimace, and supported Ronald McDonald House SWVA. Because of YOU, we were able to raise $250—and Hokie Way matched it! 🙌

We are so grateful to the wonderful team at 7-ELEVEN of Crystal Springs for holding a fundraiser to benefit Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia!

Their generous donut collection last week helped fill our pantry with treats for the families staying at our House and visiting the Family Room. Every donation makes a difference and helps provide a little extra comfort for families during a difficult time.

🏡💗 Thankful Thursday, HOMEWARD BOUND! 💗🏡

After 61 days of calling Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia home, Amber Matney and her sweet baby Katherine are finally heading home to Mercer County, West Virginia! 👶🏻🎀

During those 61 days, our House was a place where Amber could rest, recharge, find support, and be surrounded by people who cared while Katherine received the medical care she needed.

Today, we celebrate a beautiful milestone — Katherine is going home! 🥰🏡

Amber, thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s journey. We are so grateful we could provide a place to stay supported, connected, and cared for during this important chapter.

Please join us in sending lots of love and prayers for continued health and happiness to Amber and baby Katherine as they begin their journey home. ❤️🤲

A cup of coffee can be a small comfort during a very difficult time. For families staying at Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia, having coffee available at the House gives them one more little moment of comfort and normalcy while they focus on their child.

As we recognize this September, we're thinking of the NICU families supported by Ronald McDonald House programs around the world ❤️

Families like baby Grayson's.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Jeremy, Jessica, and their three children stayed at Ronald McDonald House Atlanta for over 60 nights while their son participated in a feeding therapy program nearby.

When families can stay close, they can focus on what matters most: caring for and supporting one another throughout their child’s medical journey.

At Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay, Inc., Olivia and her team helped families get back-to-school ready with fresh haircuts. We're grateful to community members like Olivia who give back in meaningful ways, helping families feel supported and experience moments of normalcy during challenging times.

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
