Due to a lighting upgrade project, access to Lot 9 is closed, from Winding Way, until August 8. To get to the Arboretum, access VWCC campus at Overland Rd, and follow around the parking lot up the hill to Lot 9.

"Played hooky" yesterday at JC Raulston Arboretum for their Landscape Professionals Field Day. I spent the day learning about NC State's w**d management, soil preparation, and AAS Garden Winners field trials, as well as beneficial and introduced insects, and turf management. It was a great way to spend my day!

VWCC is proud to be a certified Bee Campus! The Community Arboretum and Campus Staff work together to plant and maintain habitats to help pollinators thrive, as well as limiting our pesticide use. Every little bit helps!
