As our students head back to school, the Roanoke-Benson Hope Center is here to help local families start the school year a little stronger.

🚜🚒 Touch-A-Truck Roanoke is Back… and Bigger Than Ever! 🚜🚒

Get ready for one of Roanoke’s favorite family events! This year’s Touch-A-Truck is shaping up to be the BIGGEST and BEST yet, with even more hands-on fun, exciting attractions, and opportunities to come together as a community.

But this event is about more than trucks… ❤️ It’s about neighbors helping neighbors.

Throughout the event, donations will be collected for the Roanoke Benson Hope Center, helping provide food and essential household items for local families in need. If you’re attending, please consider bringing a donation.

Every donation, big or small, will make a difference for families right here in our community.

Roanoke has always been a place where people step up for one another, and events like this remind us just how special our community is. Whether you’re coming for the trucks, the Kid Zone, the fire truck rides, the food, or simply to support a great cause, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

🥕 This Saturday at the Hope Center! 🥫

This Saturday, the Roanoke-Benson Hope Center will be open for our monthly food distribution from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Whether you need a little extra help with groceries or know someone who does, we are here to serve our community with dignity, compassion, and care. No one should have to face food insecurity alone.

🇺🇸 Hope Center Food Distribution - Saturday, July 4 | 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM 🇺🇸

The Roanoke-Benson Hope Center will hold our regular food distribution on Saturday, July 4, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

As our community comes together to celebrate America’s 250th in Roanoke, please be aware that Main Street will be closed for the day’s festivities. If you’re coming to the Hope Center, please allow a little extra travel time and use alternate routes as needed.

We are grateful to be part of such a caring community where neighbors support neighbors. While many will be celebrating our nation’s birthday, we’ll also be here serving families throughout the Roanoke-Benson area with the help of our incredible volunteers.

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, father figures, mentors, and all the men who lead with kindness, strength, and love.

The impact of a father’s guidance, encouragement, and example can last for generations. Thank you to the men in our community who show up, serve others, lend a helping hand, and make a difference in the lives around them.

🌞 Summer Meal Resource for Families 🌞

Available through the Woodford County Health Department and USDA SUN Meals To-Go Program.

Families can register to receive 14 FREE nutritious meals each week for kids and teens during the summer months.
