Don't miss your chance to make your very own, one of a kind cutting board at MAKE Roanoke! This 2-day class (students MUST attend both days) is on November 7 & 8 from 1-4 PM, and utilizes a variety of woodshop tools to make a unique wooden cutting board. MAKE Roanoke hosts Virtual Maker Show & Tells on the Second Wednesday of each month at 6 pm on Google Meet! No sign-in is required to participate!

Come hang out with other makers of all crafts, learn about MAKE Roanoke's updates on our Makerspace in Roanoke, VA, and show off that cool project you've been working on!

These meetings are open to the public, all crafts and skill levels welcome! Feel free to just hang out as well!

Did you know? Our members enjoy 24/7 access to our makerspace and all the tools they're trained on for only $50 a month!

If you want to become a member, or just see what MAKE Roanoke has to offer, come to one of our General Orientations! It's free and there's no pressure to join.

They happen 3X a month:
📅 First Thursdays at 6:30 PM
📅 Second Mondays at 8:00 PM
📅 Last Saturdays at 11:00 AM

They last about an hour and consist of:
1. A tour of the makerspace and our 7 shop areas: wood, metal, 3D printing, laser, electronics, fiber arts, and stained glass
2. A 15 minute video that covers our policies
3. Membership signups for anyone who would like to join (totally optional!)

Please note:
- Closed toed shoes are required as we are an active workshop!
- Minimum age is 8 years old, with adult supervision
- Discounted memberships are available for Students, Couples, Low-Income, and Annual Memberships.

If you've ever wanted to up your cosplay game with your own chainmail, this is a great starting point. This event is open to the public and suitable for ages 10+! Participants will get to leave with a bag of chain mail rings to try their own hand at the craft as well!
