The Reentry Project utilizes evidence-based practices that start with the offender as the point of contact and looks to address the underlined root to an offenders interaction with the criminal justice system through the development of various projects. Our Core Projects Are:

Reentry Now Video Project:
Reentry now is a series of videos used to document the impact of incarceration on individuals t

hrough interviews of current offenders, ex-offenders, and their families. Legislative Agenda and Policy Reform:
The Reentry Project views policy reform as the way to strengthen Virginia's prisoner re-entry programs and identify legislative barriers that affect the successful transition and current social status of offenders returning back to their communities. Offender /Ex-offender Enterprise Projects:
The Reentry Project believes that some of the most talented individuals are currently incarcerated where their talents and abilities often go unnoticed. We are currently in the process of developing offender/ex-offender enterprise projects that will provide these individuals the opportunity to explore their creativity and generate funds to assist with child support obligations, court cost, fines, and other family needs. Ex-offender Advocacy Projects:
The mission of our ex-offender advocates projects are to provide pre-and-post incarceration services to ex-offenders in need of various resources. View our website or contact us for more information concerning our Secondary Projects at thereentryproject.com

Our Core Projects Are:

Reentry Now Video Project:
Reentry now is a series of videos used to document the impact of incarceration on individuals through interviews of current offenders, ex-offenders, and their families. It is our goal to instill a sense of humanity back into the incarceration / reentry process by exploring the emotional and sometimes raw side of incarceration. If you would like to have your incarceration story or interview documented please contact us. Our projects can be edited and used to create various facilitation workshops as well.
