We create a welcoming place for people and cultures from around the world, embracing ethnic diversity! Local Colors celebrates multicultural heritages. Our signature event, The Local Colors Festival, takes place the 3rd Saturday in May and gives residents in the Roanoke Valley and beyond, the opportunity to learn bout and enjoy a variety of cultures through authentic music, arts, crafts, food, at
tire, language, dance, and goodwill. There are also events for Hispanic Heritage Month and Lunar New Year. Local Colors works with schools, businesses, community partners, and the international community to provide connections and opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to be be valued and for learning experiences.
