Thank you for continuing to create opportunities to bring exposure and education into our group sessions at 🌱

Shoutout to for pouring into our youth and teaching them about wildlife conservation. Opportunities like this allow our students to not only be exposed to new experiences, but also explore future career paths that connect with their SOL standards and continuous learning✨

This month’s focus: problem solving 🌱

Equipping our students with the tools to think critically, communicate clearly, and build habits that carry beyond the classroom. It’s all about helping them grow into confident, capable humans — one lesson at a time 💫

This year, we’ve had the opportunity to expand our impact through our partnership with 21st Century—bringing Imagine Me into after-school spaces in a whole new way ✨

We recently wrapped up one of our schools, Roanoke Academy, and it’s been special to see what it looks like to not only show up during the school day, but to keep pouring into our youth beyond the bell.

From classrooms to after-school, the mission doesn’t stop, and we are excited to have mentors and mentees to continue to rock it out on this journey with us!

Grateful for the relationships built, the growth we’ve witnessed, and the space to continue showing up in new ways ❤️

We asked former Imagine Me students, now stepping into youth leadership within The Humble Hustle Company, what they would say to the youth currently in our programs… and this is what they shared…

These young men grew up in these spaces. To witness their growth, their confidence, and who they’re becoming in real time has meant everything to us.

Their journey is still unfolding, and we couldn’t be more proud of the path they’re on...

We hosted our first-ever Spring Break Camp a week ago, and it was everything we hoped for and more 🌱

Bringing our youth together outside of the school setting gave us the opportunity to keep building on social and emotional learning while strengthening the relationships between our mentees and mentors. From team bonding to critical thinking and problem solving, we created space for growth in ways that were engaging, intentional, and fun.

Most importantly, we created moments for connection. The kind our youth carry with them long after the program ends.

Thank you to the mentors who stepped up and poured into this experience, the adults who continue to trust and believe in our work, and the students who choose to be a part of it every time ❤️

Meet Violet, Emily, and Iris đź’› three girls from our Imagine Me Program.

During spring break camp, we brought them into the podcast studio at The Collective, and Violet shared her favorite topic from class… and truly knocked it out of the park 👏

Moments like this are a reminder of the growth, confidence, and voice being built in every session. So proud of these girls and the journey they’re on 🌱

A Full Circle Moment, Mr.J was part of Imagine Me Mentoring when he was a kid and now he’s pouring back the same love and mentorship back into his community. When we say plant the seed, this is what we mean!

We’ve loved having step in and show up for our mentees this year — leading, guiding, and pouring into them in during group sessions ✨

Representation matters, and having a positive male presence at these pivotal ages is powerful. From elementary to middle school, our youth are learning, growing, and becoming—and it means everything for them to see someone who leads with intention, encouragement, and example.

March is National Social Worker Month, and we want to take a moment to recognize someone who shows up with heart, intention, and care every time 🤍

Andrea, thank you for being a committed mentor and for the way you pour into our youth. Your presence, your patience, and your passion do not go unnoticed. The impact you’re making goes deeper than what you teach — it’s in your consistency and the way you show up for our mentees every single time.

We’re truly grateful to have you in this work with us.

Tomorrow is the last day of National Social Worker Month — make sure you take a moment to show love to a social worker and acknowledge the impact they make every day ❤️

A little throwback to our 4th grade boys locked in and working together 🤝

This was during our S.M.A.R.T. goals lesson, but since then, we’ve grown even more. We recently wrapped up emotional regulation and learned the 4 stages:
✔️ Recognize
✔️ Respond
✔️ Reappraise
✔️ Reflect

Watching their growth, teamwork, and self-awareness develop in real time means everything to us🌱

All of our Imagine Me groups—Monterey, Lincoln Terrace, Hurt Park, Addison, and Madison—have wrapped up goal-setting and SMART goals. Now we’re shifting gears.

February is about emotions and emotional regulation. Learning how to recognize feelings, name them, and respond instead of react. When students can manage frustration, stress, and big emotions, they show up better—in class, in relationships, and in their goals.

Emotional regulation isn’t just life skills, it’s school skills.
And this work matters.
