Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) provides up to three years of full-time tuition for high school graduates who meet program requirements, as funding allows. CCAP serves the entire Virginia Western Community College service region, including the counties of Botetourt, Craig, Franklin and Roanoke and the cities of Roanoke and Salem. CCAP is made possible thanks to a series

of public/private partnerships drawing on support from individuals, businesses, foundations, local governments, community groups, alumni and friends. CCAP is administered by the Virginia Western Community College Educational Foundation, a nonprofit that works with private and public partners to make college possible in the Roanoke Region.

If you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), attend the 2nd annual FAFSA Fire event, a free workshop at the Roanoke Higher Education Center.
Financial aid experts from Virginia Western Community College, Virginia Tech, Hollins, Ferrum, Radford and Roanoke College will provide one-on-one assistance in completing the FAFSA on Jan. 18.

It's Discover Orientation time for new students attending Virginia Western Community College this fall. Roanoke City CCAP students Chanell Johnson and Jacqueline "Patrice" Mazyck serve as Virginia Western Student Ambassadors and helped out during yesterday's campus tours and info sessions.

We are looking forward to meeting the 2024 CCAP class!
