Rhythm: Roanoke Area Dance Class

If you have a child who is K-12th grade and loves to dance, we want you to join us this fall for our dance program!
Rhythm seeks to foster a positive, Christian environment where children can learn the basics of contemporary style dance. This is not professional dance training and all experience levels are welcome to join the fun.
Classes will be held Mondays at New Century Church (4215 Melrose Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24017)

Class A- (ages 5-7) 5:00pm
Class B- (ages 8-11) 6:00pm
Class C- (ages 12-18) 7:00pm

Classes will begin September 16th and run through November 18th.

If you would like to register your child for classes, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
Dancer's Name, Age, and parent's contact information.

We are going to stick with our original plan and skip this week due to memorial day. NO CLASS today. We will resume next week at 6 pm! :)

Rhythm is hosting a dance exercise class! It starts this Monday 6pm at New Century Church. Come join us! All experience levels welcome- It will be super relaxed.

As of now, we have plenty of room- so invite a friend. :) Email [email protected] to give us a heads up if you plan on coming. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat or towel, and wear comfortable clothes.

Hey everyone!

We know many of you are wondering about Rhythm this spring- so we wanted to send you a quick update!

Due to family and life schedules this year, Aleks and I were prayerfully considering how we would manage the time commitment that makes Rhythm Dance classes possible. Unfortunately, we will not be holding normal Rhythm Dance classes this spring.

However, please be watching your email at the end of this month for details on what we will be doing! We are brainstorming on how we can still do what we love- while also loving our families well in this season.
(We are considering family dance exercise classes, choreography classes for older students, or Dance workshops)

This does not mean that Rhythm is over- we hope to continue with normal classes at some point, but feel led to do something different this semester.

Rhythm is back!!! We are so excited to announce our Spring 2023 season.

We offer dance classes for grades K- 12th hosted at New Century Church. Rhythm seeks to foster a positive, Christian environment where children can learn the basics of contemporary style dance. This is not professional dance training and all experience levels are welcome to join the fun!

Classes will be on Monday evenings starting 2/6/23. Approx 12 weeks of classes- ending the beginning of May. More details to come regarding our end of the season performance.

K-3rd grade : 5 pm
4th grade-6th grade : 6 pm
7th grade-12th grade : 7 pm

The only cost will be $15* to cover our dance team t-shirts.
*(Final cost will be announced closer to the beginning of classes)

We had a fantastic first day of classes!! So. Much. Fun! I am really looking forward to the rest of the season. 💗
