A conversation (and a short docuseries) about all the places that food is grown and how it is shared within our community.

The Valley Outdoor Infrastructure Committee (VOICe) is a political advocacy group. They believe investing in our outdoor infrastructure is key to improving quality of life and fostering sustainable economic growth in the Roanoke Region.

They will discuss their 2026-2028 outdoor infrastructure plans and how you can get involved.

The New Belgium Brewing B**r Mile presented by RunAbout Sports Roanoke at GO Cross Cyclocross Race is Saturday, Sept 26th at 5:30 pm.
Fun folks age 21+ are invited to chug, run, and experience the GOCX course in a whole new way.
Costume Theme: Grateful Dead

Kids age 8 and under are invited to the FREE kids' bike race at Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge GO Cross Cyclocross Race presented by New Belgium Brewing. Saturday and Sunday 12:15 pm.

Where? Fallon Park
Parking? Free parking off Dale Ave at the park entrance, follow signs and staff instructions.
What should I bring? A bike, helmet, and your lil' belgian (kids under 8 years old).

Meet up at the Tent by 11:45am to sign waivers and check-in!

It's race week for Virginia's Blue Ridge Go Cross Presented by New Belgium Brewing!
Forecast: Sunny & 75° with high chances of stoke. Read on for spectator details:

Where? Fallon Park

When? Saturday, Sept. 26 & Sunday, Sept. 27
• Pro Races: 2:55 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. (Both Days)
• Amateur and Junior Races: Begin at 7:45 a.m. and continue until the Pro Races. (Both Days)
• Lil' Belgians Kids' Race: 12:15 p.m. (Both Days). Check-in opens at 11:45 a.m. at the WeeWheel Tent.
• The New Belgium Brewing "Grateful" B**r Mile: Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5:15 p.m. (On-site registration open at the ID check/b**r tent until 4:30 p.m.)

How big of a deal is this?
Racers are competing for over $19,000 prize purse and traveling to Roanoke from as far as Alaska! Pretty big deal!

What to bring?
Cowbells, noisemakers, camp chairs, reusable pint cups, money for food trucks & b**r, your bike, all your friends.

Should you volunteer? Yep, you betcha. Take home a free shirt and that warm, fuzzy feeling from being a part of something epic. Special need for Sunday course marshals.
