It's been a wild and crazy 9 years for the MBM Committee to say the least, but it's come time for us to take a break. We've enjoyed having all of you coming to our little event here in the Blue Ridge Mountains while we raised money for charities like the American Cancer Society, The Trevor Project, Council of Community Services as well as a slew of others.

Will we be back for MBM10 in 2017? Only time will tell. For now all we can say is THANK YOU for making our events memorable ones. We love you all (well 99.9% of you). Please have a safe and wonderful holiday season and a bright and successful 2016. Don't forget your fellow bear brothers during the holiday season! Keep in touch with one another and look out for one another, and most of all be kind to one another.

It's always sad to hear of a fellow bear brother passing. Yesterday we lost not only a previous member of the Virginia Mountain Bears but also a regular attendee of Mountain Bear Madness. Jay Meyers from NC passed away after complications from an infection on his finger that spiraled out of control. Godspeed Jay, we'll miss you.

We are beyond excited to announce that we have two amazing DJ's coming to spin the tunes this year at Mountain Bear Madness! DJ Kurt Jo from NYC and VJ Eric from Atlanta will both be bringing their awesome styles to the nightly events to make sure the party stays hopping! Whether you're bumping and grinding in your Underwear at the UndearBear Party or slipping and sliding up against each other in the Foam Party, the music's going to be awesome!

May Update: As of 5/8/15 the host hotel is SOLD OUT! We are working on getting rates for the overflow hotels (right next door) and the host hotel is now compiling a waiting list. More information soon.
