What a great weekend!

08/10/2019

Float Fishermen of Virginia began in 1969 with a group of friends that spent their free time canoeing, kayaking, and rafting the rivers and streams of Va. Today FFV is a statewide organization that consists of 5 chapters representing different regions across the state. We are so lucky here in Va to have access to a diverse system of rivers, creeks, streams, and tributaries. Float Fishermen paddle all of the above, whether you enjoy fishing in the tidewater region, a casual family float in small class I or II rapids, to big whitewater for our adrenaline junkies! We welcome paddlers of all experience levels and there are more than a few members ready and eager to train noobs. In order to continue enjoying all of the natural wonders we are so lucky to have here, Virginia Float Fishermen is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of our streams and waterways. Our members are always eager to load a boat on a vehicle and head to the river. Below you will find a list of our organized events that are held every year with Memorial day and Labor day weekends being the main event.
