It’s timeeee! 💧

Litter pollution is a major issue, not just here in the Roanoke Valley, but around the world. What starts as litter on our streets can make its way into storm drains, streams, rivers, and eventually our oceans, where people and wildlife suffer the consequences. But together, we can make a difference!

Tomorrow is the first day of Clean Valley Council’s 2026 Fall Waterways Cleanup! We’re joining forces with other environmental organizations to help reduce litter and prevent pollution from making its way into our waterways. The cleanup runs through October 31, so there’s plenty of time to get out there and make an impact!
