Pivot Charter School - Tampa Welcome to Pivot Charter School - Tampa! Pivot boasts an innovative site-based approach to high quality education.

Located in the greater Tampa bay area, Pivot Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school located in Florida serving grades 6-12. PCS incorporates an online curriculum with certified online teachers and certified on-site teachers working side by side with students as they are engaged in their courses in our Learning Centers. Each student receives an educational program to meet their indi

vidual needs and styles of learning. We enable students to successfully complete their requirements, graduate on-time, and move into the next stages of either career or college life. PCS also allows students to attend school on-site for a shorter amount of time each day than traditional
schools.

Due to scheduled A/C repairs, temperatures inside the building may be warmer than usual. Students are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for the warmer temperatures while continuing to follow the dress code. Please also bring a water bottle, and stay hydrated throughout the day.

Welcome back, Panthers! We're ready for an amazing year!

A new school year means new opportunities, new goals, and another chance to grow together. We're excited to welcome our students and families back to Pivot Charter School!

This year, we're especially excited to offer two school sessions to better meet the needs of our families, along with transportation available for both sessions!

And we have even more to celebrate, Pivot Charter School earned a B school grade! We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, and families whose hard work and dedication made this achievement possible.

🎉 We’re Proud to Share Some Great News!

We’re excited to announce that Pivot Charter School has earned a B school grade from the Florida Department of Education for the 2025-2026 school year! This marks an important milestone in our school’s journey and reflects the incredible growth our students have achieved through hard work, determination, and perseverance.

This accomplishment belongs to our entire Pivot community.

Research is increasingly showing something many educators have observed in their classrooms for years: students often stay more focused and retain information better when they regularly read, write, and take notes by hand.

Based on both this research and what we have observed in our own classrooms, Pivot Charter School is launching our **Back to Basics Initiative**, placing a greater emphasis on paper-and-pencil learning in our core academic classes.

Students will see:

Now available for the 2026-2027 school year, the Business & Technology Career Pathway is open to incoming 9th and 10th-grade students interested in developing real-world skills for college, careers, and entrepreneurship.

Students can:

🏅 Earn industry-recognized certifications, including Microsoft Office Specialist, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Entrepreneurship & Small Business, IC3 Digital Literacy, and more

Last night, we celebrated and said goodbye to the Class of 2026. 💙🎓

It is hard to put into words what this group has meant to our school. We have watched these students grow, overcome obstacles, support one another, and create memories that will stay with us long after graduation.

From classrooms and spirit days to senior events and late-night deadlines, this class brought its own personality, humor, resilience, and heart to Pivot Charter School.

As they move into the next chapter of their lives, we hope they remember that success is not about following one perfect path. It is about continuing to grow, staying true to who you are, and having the courage to keep moving forward.

Thank you, Class of 2026, for allowing us to be part of your story. We are incredibly proud of you and cannot wait to see what comes next.
