As this school year comes to a close and our time as your PTA Board comes to an end, we just want to say thank you. ❤️

Thank you to every family who volunteered, donated, attended events, supported fundraisers, and showed up for our students and staff this year. It has truly been an honor to serve our Dawson community.

This year, together, we were able to create so many special memories for our students while also giving back to our school through family events, staff support, and school improvement projects that will continue to impact students for years to come. None of it would have been possible without the support of our amazing families, staff, administration, sponsors, and volunteers.

While it’s bittersweet to step away, we are incredibly excited for the future of Dawson PTA. Our incoming board is full of passionate, dedicated parents who care deeply about our school and our students, and we know they are going to do an amazing job. We hope our families will continue supporting them just as strongly as you supported us.

Thank you again for allowing us to be part of such a special chapter at Dawson. This school and community will always hold a special place in our hearts. 💚🐉

A HUGE thank you to Latin Bowl Restaurant-Brandon FL for generously donating all of the delicious food for our 5th Grade Banquet! Your support helped make the day extra special for our students and we are so incredibly grateful for your generosity and community support! ❤️ The kids absolutely loved the food, and we encourage our community to visit Latin Bowl and support their wonderful business!

We also want to thank our administration and amazing 5th grade team for hosting such a fun and memorable banquet for our graduating 5th graders!

Students enjoyed dancing, making friendship bracelets, playing with glow sticks, decorating and signing yearbooks with fun markers, and spending one last special day together as elementary students. 💫

A special shoutout to Mrs. Cross for taking song requests and putting together an amazing playlist — complete with limbo fun! 🎶

With lots of desserts, juice, laughter, and memories made, it was the perfect way to celebrate the Class of 2026! 🎓🐉

Last yearbook pickup is tomorrow from 2:30-6pm! Please wait until the carline has ended and until 2:30 PM to wait outside the cafeteria doors. This is only for parents who preordered a yearbook.

Our first Yearbook Pickup Day is tomorrow, May 21st from 2:30–6:00 PM in the cafeteria!

Please remember:
🚗 Wait until carline is completely finished before coming to pick up your student’s yearbook. We want to help keep dismissal safe and traffic flowing smoothly for everyone.

🎉 End of the Year Bash was a success today!

The students were so excited to play while enjoying their shave ice! We had jump ropes, badminton, bubbles, music, limbo, balls, frisbees, and more — lots of fun and smiles to celebrate the end of an amazing school year. ☀️🎶🫧
