Philmont 06/15/26
The Crew began the day with a stunning sunrise. While the morning was a bit chilly, it warmed up nicely with a hearty breakfast and Miguel's amazing performance on the piano. The Crew visited Villa Philmonte, a large ranch home listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1995. There, Miguel played a custom-built Knabe player piano, a unique historical artifact. Additionally, the Crew explored the National Scout Museum, a place committed to preserving the rich history of the Scouting movement. It was exciting to see a familiar face in our ranger team: Ben Spain, an Eagle Scout from Troop 610. The day concluded, with the campfire and getting everything ready for tomorrow's adventure.

Yesterday, the crew arrived in Denver, CO, and hopped on a bus to the enchanting Philmont Scout Ranch. Even though it rained, their spirits were high as they settled into Tent City for the next two nights. From their spot, they enjoyed stunning views of the iconic Tooth of Time, a must-see landmark! To wrap up the day, they attended a heartfelt church service, fueling their excitement for the thrilling adventures that awaited them the next day.

Summer Camp - Day 6
The last day started early with the search for the Red Ruby. Nolan, Gavin, and Sebastian was the crew in charge of the search, and they returned victorious after a week following the clues and putting all their efforts into catching it 💎
Early in the morning, the scouts Nick O, Nick A, Julian, and the adult Sandra participated in the 5k race. It was an exciting and challenging event, and we were thrilled to be the Troop with the most participants. 🏃🏻🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻
After lunch, Martha has her Scoutmaster conference and board of review for the second class rank, and Sebastian has his board of review for the first class rank, while other senior scouts help get the rank requirements to the young scouts.
At the end of the day, everything got exciting having the ceremony to receive the awards.
The Troop received honor ribbons for posting the flag every day and the envelope with all the merit badges that the Scouts were awarded in this week. Besides, Emma, Nolan and Nathan got their award for the Woodsman camp, Zach received his medal for his participation in the Bohicket Towne Camp, Nick O, Connor, Nick A, and Julian received a reward for the participation in the Bohicket Challenge, Gavin, Mason, Sebastian, Martha, and Wyatt received their certification for Snorkeling, Sandra and Josh received their certification for BSA Paddle Craft Safety, Sandra, Julian, Nick A, and Nick O received the award for their participation in the 5k race. Finally, the Scouts show their appreciation to their favorite counselors in the ceremony.
We are grateful to Camp Ho Non Wah for this great week full of learning experiences and fun.

Summer Camp - Day 5
Creating more scouting memories on the shore of the Bohicket. We started the day running for 2.5 miles, then continued to the regular activities. In the evening, the staff performed a musical presentation of the Bohicket, a Native American tribe from this coastal area. At the campfire, our Troop performed its skip.
