Last week, expert Gastroenterologist Dr. Shruthi Narasimha led an information-packed lunch-and-learn session overviewing the different types of gastrointestinal conditions.

Attendees enjoyed a complimentary lunch as they learned all about warning signs and symptoms, steps for prevention and when to schedule an appointment with a specialist for treatment.

Veronica arrived at AdventHealth Riverview on New Year’s Day struggling to catch her breath, but nurses and respiratory therapists quickly stepped in to bring calm and comfort.

She remembers the team by name and the way they made her feel safe, and today she’s back to living her life again.

As Lloyd Snead’s condition continued to worsen, he knew it was time to find answers.

Dr. Dmitry Goldin listened closely, explained what was causing his symptoms and helped Mr. Snead understand his diagnosis. With greater clarity and a path forward, he could take the next step in getting the care he needed.

A strong start to the school year can help a child feel prepared, confident and supported. 🎒

AdventHealth team members recently joined Backpack Hero Day at the Hillsborough County Fair, helping assemble and distribute more than 2,700 backpacks filled with school supplies for K-12 students across Southeastern Hillsborough County.

Each backpack represents more than supplies. It helps give students the tools they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn, grow and pursue what matters to them.

Thank you to the team members who packed backpacks and to our emergency department nurses who cared for attendees at the event’s first aid station.

We are grateful to be part of efforts that help our community’s children and families thrive.
